Davis Enterprises is the owner and manager of a large number of real estate holdings in the south Jersey area. Their holdings consist of a number of rental apartment communities and commercial properties for which they must provide on-going maintenance, and modernization.

Like many businesses that XCENT becomes involved with, it is due to a failed attempt to grow basic home-grown Access solutions into efficient, high-performance, and sustainable solutions.

What started out as an effort to help them better manage their maintenance work orders has turned into a platform which provides just about every business process their maintenance department requires to do their job.

XCENT developed a platform over time that provides Davis with:

• Management of Properties, Units, and their Tenants.
• Work order management which includes tracking of work personnel assignment and effort as well as parts and big-ticket items.
• Support for special actions such as recurring work orders, and tenant changes
• Comprehensive multi-location inventory tracking system which includes average cost tracking, and support for physical inventory processes.
• Reporting on costs and exports to the Davis' general ledger for cost accounting at the location level.

XCENT is now working with Davis to evaluate the introduction a mobile solution to their process which would provide more current information on inventory positions and work order statuses, which can only improve their tenant's experience.
