BK Forensics was looking for a way to create a tool that could be used by their clients and others in the space to aid in the gathering of information that is found on cell phones. BK Forensics already found a company who creates software which can read data from just about every phone in the marketplace. They needed someone who could interface with this software and create an effective user experience for their potential client base

XCENT built a desktop application that featured:

• An intuitive user interface to scan, and manage data associated with the cell phone
• A highly-configurable reporting engine to provide needed reports, and exhibits for courtroom sessions.
• A culture-aware interface that supported alternate languages: German and French to start.
• An extensible architecture that would allow new phones and new devices to be processed, such as tablet and game devices.
