HTML
HTML is an acronym for HyperText Markup Language. It is a markup language used to describe content on web pages. It is derived from SGML, or Standard Generalized Markup Language for electronic publishing. HTML allows content creators to specify how different styles should be applied to content when it is displayed or rendered. HTML defines a variety of baseline styles which can be expanded upon using CSS.
