Question I'm not very good at creating my own images or photos for creating images to use on my web site. How can I find images that I can use?

Answer There are many places online where you can find excellent quality images to use when developing your own web site. Hopefully, you already realize that you cannot just go to someone else's web site, save images you find there, and use them on your own site. That would be a violation of the original image owners copyright and could land you in real trouble. Only if the site explicitly states you can reuse images on your own site, then is the only time it is legally safe to do so. If you are not sure, ask the site owner or operator. If you don't get an answer, then do not assume it is safe to use. Always get explicit permission.

Otherwise there are many excellent sites that exist completely for buying high quality images at reasonable prices. Topic and variety can vary significantly, so it can take some time to look around and find something you like or something that you can use.

One site we can recommend as we have used it regularly and one that has pretty good search tools, and very reasonable pricing is iStockPhoto.com. Try the link below to see the types of images and graphics you can find on this site.
