What is the SagePay Online Processing Module?

SagePay was previously known as ProtX.
This module is used to allow XCENT web server applications to interface directly to the SagePay merchant processing gateway. Using this module, your web server can connect directly to the SagePay servers and perform transactions securely via the internet. This module uses HTTP to communicate with SagePay (using SSL for security) and requires your web server to have a supported HTTP component installed to allow it to do this. The module comes configured to use the Microsoft XMLHTTP component by default. You can verify the availability of a supported HTTP component by using the xcDiag.ASP utility.
