The version my application is showing on the Check Version page is not the same version number as what is listed on the XCENT web site as the current version, but it shows as being up to date. What is wrong?
or
In looking at the Check Version page, the version number of my database is different from the application version number. Do I need to update something?

In answer to both the questions above, no, there is nothing wrong and there is likely nothing that you need to update. The version numbers are shown for informational purposes and you may be asked this information when you contact support for assistance. This information is used by XCENT technicians to test or verify any issues you are reporting or in helping to diagnose any problems with your installation.
The database version number will not necessarily by in sync with the application version number. These are two independent version numbers and they do not need to be identical. While certain versions of the application do indeed require specific database versions, you do not need to be concerned about a difference in these numbers if your application is installed and functioning correctly.
The reported application status is the important piece of information to look at when you are concerned about having the most recent release installed on your site. If your installed application is showing as being current, then you already have the most recently available version of the application installed and running on your site.
Important Note: Each installed module of XCENT's web server software will have its own unique version number. For example, if you have xcAuction installed, you may notice that the XUD Membership System may be reporting a slightly different version number than the xcAuction module is reporting. Depending on version specifics, this is normal for certain releases and there is nothing to be concerned about. Just double check the application status on each installed module that you have in order to determine if there are any updates available for your site.
