Question I have setup my server to use Microsoft Terminal Services to manage it remotely, but I cannot seem to connect to it. What could be wrong?

Answer In order to allow other machines to connect to your server using Terminal Services, or Remote Desktop, the server must allow traffic to reach it on port number 3389. If your server is behind a firewall or has IPSec or port filtering enabled, then port 3389 must be opened up to allow access by the MSTS / RDP client on your remote PC.
