Question The date is not displayed the way I want it. My local date format is Day/Month/Year, but since my site is hosted on a server in the US, it is showing as Month/Day/Year. How can I change it?

Answer To over-ride the default locale settings of the server your site is running on, a command to change the locale needs to be inserted into one of the ASP file. For XCENT products that have a database connection file (i.e. XUDdb.ASP and XcCPdb.ASP), you would add this to these files. For XCENT products that ship with a language file, when/if you make changes to the language file, you can add a single line at the top of this file to over-ride any regional settings your web server is set to. If your XCENT product does not have a language file, you can add this line to the configuration file instead. This will effect all the regional settings (date and time formatting, currency symbol, etc.).

At the top of the file, you will want to add a new line that will set the correct locale you want your site to run as. This line will look like this:

<% Session.LCID=localenumber %>

You will want to replace localenumber with the proper number from the list below.
