Question How can I update the scripting engine and what will that do for me?
Answer Updating the Microsoft scripting engine can do several things. It will correct any bugs or problems in earlier releases, sometimes including security related improvements, which leads to improved reliability. New scripting features and enhacements are also provided in scripting engine updates. Also, if you are still running versions 5.1 and earlier, performance has been greatly enhanced in many parts of the scripting engine.
